Eat an Apple a Day??

Writer: AARDEAARDE

Colonial friends taught us to ‘Eat Apple a Day to Keep Doctor Away’. Very clever!!

Unfortunately, we didn’t have brains!!

We continue to say the phrase without thinking that the apple doesn’t grow within 3000km from Chennai. Before leaving India, the Colonial friends introduced such strategies to keep their market and farmers happy forever.

Our local fruits and nuts lost its value. ‘Eat Jamun a Day to Keep Doctor Away’ should be taught in our children to keep our farmers happy.
